Franklin Township is home to Southeastway Park where visitors can participate in environmental education camps, their annual Bug Fest, and hayrides in the fall. This park has a variety of natural habitats, 80 acres of forest, a pond, wetland, open fields, a prairie, and Buck Creek. Visitors can enjoy the multiple playgrounds, sledding hill, 6 picnic shelters, and 2.5 miles of paved trail available for walking, running, biking, and strollers. When not hosting summer camps and seasonal programs, the Activity Center is available to be rented out for personal events.
